::Kluang Rail Coffee @ Kluang, Johor::

Kluang Rail Coffee.
So classic.
Actually just a normal road side (in this case, railway side) coffee corner/ stall.
Nevertheless, this place has make Kluang a tourism limelight and people will drop by just to have a look/ try!
This place begin operating since 1983.
I had always associated this Kluang Rail Coffee with the franchise Kluang Station. Apparently, there are not! Ops.. a misunderstand there.
Look at the crowd @@
We had to stand and wait patiently before we get a seat. In fact, there is a lot of people standing and waiting - patiently. The usual me will just give up, but since we had came so far, I just make myself be extra patient this time, hopefully that it's all worthwhile.
There is the menu. Simple with few choices. And each come in a small portion, that you can actually order all to try out :)
Coffee or tea?
The pathetically small packet nasi lemak that is ready on the table and cost 70 cent each. One can simply had a few packets of this. Consist of a lil bit of rice, sambal and anchovies+nuts.. as in picture. Tasted OK.
Toasted bun. This one with peanut butter filling. This is yummy.
There is 3 choices of filling available.

Other than these, we also tried out the Mee Hon Siam which are also readily available on the table and cost 70 cent as well. I like the mee hon Siam at the franchise one better.
And we had half-boiled egg and pulut panggang as well.
It's not that licking good delicious but it's definitely a good experience. Worth to drop by if you happen to pass by Kluang :)

::Tangkak Beef Noodle @ Tangkak, Johor::

During the previous trip down south on March.
We stop by Tangkak to try out the famous beef noodle.
Pricing of big bowl RM6, Medium bowl RM5, Small bowl RM4.
We opt for small bowl just for a try.
Sad to say, the beef noodle I had in Bentong, Pahang impressed me more.
They said it's because this time round, we try it with bihun, so the taste is not too good. I got no idea on that. Nevertheless, the soup isn't thick enough for me too.

::Hock Choon Kee @ Ulu Yam::

One fine day. Jalan Jalan Outting to Batu Caves and Ulu Yam.
Part 2 - after a heavy dim sum breakfast at Kepong, here we are climbing 272 steps up the Batu Caves. This is my first time here. Good experience.
After climbing the 272 steps of Batu Caves, here we are at Ulu Yam Lama for the so call famous Loh Mee. From homework done, they decided to go to the one I went last time, but I rejected the idea as I don't feel it is nice at all. So we go for option 2 - Hock Choon Kee Restaurant.
Fish Cake. Okie. The previous restaurant's is nicer as it is more 'toink toink' compare to this.
The famous Loh Mee. Which disappoint all of us! I think this taste better than the previous but I still think the one I had in KL taste better! Perhaps .. Ulu Yam's Loh Mee doesn't suit our tastebuds.
Glass Vermicilli. Same dissapointing.

We ordered one more Hokkien Mee but no picture available here. Total bill come up to RM54 which we mutually agreed it is expensive. The waiting time disappointed us as well. 2 hour+ for 4 dishes to be serve. Feels like growing fungus waiting for the dishes to be serve one after another. And it is just only noodles! @@
Kitchen doesn't look good. Lost my appetite after 'borrowing' the toilet which located in the kitchen and have a glance at the kitchen. Ok. I couldn't expect much from a village eatery. But but but .. I better stop mumbling. Bye.

::Tuck Kee Dim Sum @ Kepong::

One fine day. Jalan-Jalan Outting to Batu Caves and Ulu Yam.
We kick off our day with dim sum breakfast at Kepong.
The bf always and only brought me here for dim sum. I reckon there is quite a number of dim sum restaurant in Kepong, but I only know this one. Hehe..
I'm yet to have an unforgettable delicious licking good dim sum that the taste will linger in my brain for long time. This is is ok, comparable with the one I had at Hong Kee's and far more better than Kajang's Mexim. Do try out the porridge at Tuck Kee. So far, it's the best tasted porridge I'd had.

::Gardens Cafe @The Curve::

Charmain's Birthday.

Garden's. The first one I heard of/ saw was the one and only in 1 Utama. Then it spreads to Gardens MidValley and now The Curve. Never try and no intention to try for no reason, until Steven organize Charmain's birthday here.
Nice environment and nice decoration. No doubt. Menu wise .. a lot of varieties and price range from RM15 and above, which I suppose is reasonable.Ice Lemon Tea. Steven's fav as he always quote that no matter where you go, you can never go wrong with Ice Lemon Tea. *sweat*
And I will always go for English Tea.
Potato Wedges.
Spagetthi Marinara RM17.90. Big portion of spagetthi but 'not too marinara'.
Chicken Teriyaki RM17.90. We were laughing at the 2 thin piece small size chicken slice. Not recommended for big eater.
Grilled Baramundi. Not likey this. Feel cheated. Feel that it is mainly only skin of the fish!
The Girls~
The gentlemans guys.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHARMAIN. Hope you enjoyed the small small celebration from us :)

p/s: Overall, this place has little no difference with Full House. Varieties of chioces in the menu with reasonable price. Same concept of decorations. But foods are really so-so only. Nevertheless, it's quite a good place for gathering and hang up =)

::Nando's::

During our routine weekend shopping. A sudden crave for grilled chicken chop. A need to cut cost and save budget. Ting~ Nando's.
Hrmm.. perhaps it's not so cost-bustering but it's still within our budget though. RM15+ per set of quarter chicken + 2 side dish =)

Mild Peri Peri Chicken with Fries and Coleslow. The chicken is not too spicy. Just nice. Herbs and Lemon Chicken with Mediterrenean Rice and Mix Vegie. Both side dishes is not to my likey. Chicken has got no taste. Perhaps should ordered those Peri-Peri - else what's the meaning to Nando's isn't it?

::Fong Lye Taiwan @ Gardens MV::

Been here for the second time =)
I'm kinda fond of chinese cuisine which comes in a set, a small set consists of soup, vegie and a main course of fish/ chicken/ pork.
It gives me that homey feel =)

And here we are, at Fong Lye Taiwan restaurant for our lunch.
With our sets!~ All sets price starts from RM18.90
My tomato egg fish sets RM19.80 Tomato egg fish. Not to my likey.
Fried Pork set RM19.80. Not to my likey too. Too dry d. Steam fish set RM19.80. I likey this much! Hehe..

Overall the foods is so-so only for me. Dont like the service here. I know the queue is long, but don't like the way the waiter just keep pushing us to leave after we finish our meal. This makes us can't spend a long time sitting here chit-chatting. Okay, I know this is not the place for long sit chit chat, but for express lunch .. but still I prefer eat comfortably.
