Day 6: our last day in Perth. And the most relaxing one.
We started the day early by heading to King's Park. After the bus driver (oh.. do check out that bus in Perth operates for free. I like their efficiency. On time and need not wait long.) drop us at the station, we walk to King's Park and pass by the Parliament!
Very sunny day.
View from King's Park.. we didn't walk deep inside. I need to save my energy for other activities today :)
So we went back to Perth city and have a brisk walk in the city.
We saw this! 0km. All distance starts calculation from here. Interesting.
The city was a bit crowded with high security that day due to the CHOGM event.
It doesn't bother or interrupt us anyway..
We stop by Bell Tower. The bells are ringing that particular day. Perhaps due to the CHOGM event and Queen's Birthday. We did not enter the tower though. We just hang around at the park surrounding it.
So.. this is Perth City.
We then headed to board our ferry - Captain Cook which we had bought the tickets earlier through online. RM45 for 2 pax (after 10% discount). One way from Perth to Fremantle. Just to experience boarding a ferry in Perth.
We choose to sit at the open air.
Bye bye Perth!~
It's a good experience to try taking ferry from Perth to Fremantle. Something different to be seen.
Arriving after 45 minutes. E-Shed is a good place to get souvenirs! But it only operates on Fri-Sun.
We had our lunch at Cicerello's. Another famous fish n chips is at Kaili's.
Crowded with people due to it's holiday in Perth.
The menu.
We had seafood tray for AU$18.50. Well.. honestly I think the one we had at Malaysia Manhattan Fish Market taste better.
Very sunny but I still feel very cold.
Kaili's which located opposite.
We had a walk in Fremantle Markets.. but bought nothing :)
We then stop by Fremantle Prison. Due to the entrance fees was quite expensive, we skipped.
We spent time leisuring around the town.
Before heading back Perth City by train.
At night, we have a walk around Perth City again. Stopping by London Court. A miniature of Harry Potter's town. Nice!
And had our dinner at Nando's. Where we got cheated!! @@
So expensive! The chicken only cost AUD6.50; we add on coleslaw and orange juice (which we thought suppose to come in as a set, like in Malaysia), but it actually cost us extra AUD6 .. @@
But the chicken definitely much nicer and well marinated.

We had few hours fast nap before heading to airport. Muffin which cost us AUD4.80 .. just to fulfill my greed cause the muffins at Aussie looks so tempting. LOL.
And here's the souvenirs..
Overall, we had a very great trip. We bought the ticket 10 months earlier (yep.. during my 2010 birthday as a birthday gift to me!). I had read and read and plan and plan and here it is.. the whole journey. Although there are a few places we need to drop out due to our tight schedule, we still feel this trip is very great. A lot of things we had seen and tried. Especially experience of driving in Perth, the free bus ride, the ferry ride and also train ride, not forgetting our legs that had walked a lot.
I love the cold weather, despite at times it left me breathless and shivering non stop (yeah.. i'm that bad in handling cold environment) .. but the view and feel just make all this worthy.
And although I wish we are filthy rich so that we can enjoy the trip with a more luxurious way.. but I guess at this time being.. this is quite luxurious in a way already. Hope can travel to a place like this again sometime.. New Zealand perhaps? =)
