::Ibu Oka Babi Guling @ Ubud, Bali::
This is the original/ HQ located just opposite the main entrance of Ubud Palace.
The suckling pig which cost Rp40k.
Expensive huh? In our opinion, it tastes good. It doesn't taste like pork though, more to chicken for me. Lol.. very soft and tender meat with a special sauce that I wish I had the recipe.
.:Dana Sari Accomodation @ Ubud, Bali:.
The view of the homestay. I forgotted to take a picture inside of the room as we were too rush. Basically we just put in our luggage, go out, come back late night to sleep and rush out again the next morning. What I can say is, don't expect a nice hotel room as this is homestay, but it is still ok for a sleep of one night or two :)

Eww.. taste weird to me.
.:Bali Trip 150111 - 180111:.
We (me and a bestie) had been talking about going to Bali together to show off the bikini's. We waited and waited and waited but yet still unable to get the cheapest ticket we could place our hand's money on. And finally one day when Air Asia is having the promotion, Steven invite us to join a balinese trip together with his friend with return ticket price of RM300 (which I suppose is not the cheapest but still affordable). But too bad, the bestie can't manage to get the ticket! Anyway .. that was an old story. Get back to current.
So the 4 day 3 night trip has pass us by. Frankly, I didn't do much research/ study for this trip as I had many many other things to busy with *ops .. excuse* .. thank you so much to Charlotte for the incredible effort for planning this trip. So here you go .. what we did.
Day 1 : 150111
We did .. nothing! Lol .. our flight was schedule to be at 350pm from LCCT but it postponed until 5pm+ only depart. And so we arrive safely in Depansar (Ngurah Rai) Airport at 730pm. A blackout welcomed us. And so we stuck in the dark eerie airport with no single dot of lights except from handphones for about 15 minutes. Interesting isn't it?!
And after we get out from the airport, strong wind and rain welcomed us. After all the hassle and being pick up by driver arrange by the hotel (with payment of Rp100k for 3 of us), we arrive our hotel and meet up with 2 more friends there. That was about 830pm already.
After drop off our luggage, we fight through the strong wind and rain to heal our growling tummy. Most of the shops (I think almost all) closed at 10pm. We had our dinner at Sushi Bar Tempura, and then have a short walk at the souvenir shop across the road before going back to our hotel for a rest.
And that night, I barely get any sleep as the electricity keeps tripping on and off, making me feel so eerie. In addition to my not used to sleep on other bed except of my own. But its not the fault of the hotel, I think the whole Kuta town is having electricity supply problem.
Day 2 : 160111
Sky in Bali turn bright as early as 630am. We dreadfully drag ourselves up from the bed, pack our stuffs, go down and have our breakfast that is provided by the hotel and meet our driver, En. Abadi to really start our trip, going to Ubud! :)
It takes about 1 and half hour to reach Ubud from Kuta. And the road is freaking scary *at least for me* .. I can even have road-phobic even though I'm not the driver. The lane is so small for 2 way road and there is just too many motorist and seems like there is no exact rules on how to drive on the road.. as long as you reach your destination, safely. Phew!~
Back to itinerary. On our way to Ubud, we stop by Cenang Batik House, a place that sell souvenirs which can obviously be taken off from the itinerary. *We stop because our driver wanted to rest* And finally reaching Ubud and check in our homestay.
We then stop by Ibu Oka Babi Guling on our way to Tirta Empul. Too bad .. the babi guling is only available from 11am-3pm.. and at 10am, we were too early to be serve. So.. we went directly to Tirta Empul (entrance fees Rp15k).. a temple with hot spring which known as holy water. We didn't get soaked as we did not bring extra clothes. On the path out from Tirta Empul Temple, there were stalls *souvenirs stalls* along the road with crazy sellers that will grab your hand real tight asking you to buy their items which cause us not even dare to walk near the stalls! *how to buy then when dont even dare to go near?!* And their technique of selling things, where they were yelling a very low price and when you go near, you realise that they just yell the low price for fun, and it's too late, you are busted, get hold until you buy their things, or be brave to walk away as fast as you can before they start to grab your hand and not letting go. =.=lll
Anyway .. after Tirta Empul, we then went to Kintamani (entrance fees Rp9k). This place is really a must go! Very scenic view of volcano mountain with lake. And pick any restaurant and you can enjoy your meal with the scenic and breezy environment. We had our buffet lunch at Grand Puncak Sari. With price of RM27, don't expect much. :)
We then headed to Tegallalang as our plan. Green scenic view of paddy field. Padi Bukit. Well .. we spent only 10 minute here, as really .. it's only padi bukit and nothing else. And the padi bukit area is not big. LOL.
Being very much early compared to our schedule, we still proceed our way to Ubud Market, a place for souvenirs too with scary sellers too.
Then we move on to Ubud Palace. Again .. we only spent less than 5 minute *or is it 1 min?* Visitors are only allowed to walk into a small area to take pictures and stuffs. Actually *I'm not sure is this a fact*, while we then walk around Ubud, we found out there is quite a few entrance to the palace. But still each entrance only allow limited area. Nothing really interesting in my opinion.
So we found the Ibu Oka Babi Guling at Ubud Town here and feast it (Rp40k/plate) . Taste really nice! I like the sauce! ^^
After a short walk around the town, we call it a day by proceed to our spa and facial session to relax ourselves :)
Be reminded that you have to get naked for the spa session. Call me paranoid. I just feel so geli .. lol.
After our spa session, we proceed for our dinner at the famous bebek bengil and celebrate Charlotte's birthday. There goes our second day in Bali. :)
Day 3: 170111
Again.. we dreadfully drag ourselves up from our bed and get ready to go Padang Bay for snorkelling. Snorkelling package which includes transportation, equipments and lunch cost us USD48. Well .. if you are not the person who really into snorkelling and flora and fauna, I guess better eliminate it from your itinerary. I won't deny the fun going out off the sea. The clear blue crystal water is so nice! But I dont enjoy dipping myself in that cold wavy water which in the end cost me to vommit out my yummy tuna satay. (Oya.. something worth mention is, on our way to Padang Bay, at Gua Lawah .. there is a stall selling super duper yummy tuna satay! Seriously damn nice!) But still .. I snorkel the sea in Bali! (what ever the sea name is that! lol .. my geography sucks).
After finish our snorkelling session, we went back to Ubud and check out from our homestay and our driver Mr Abadi fetch us to our next destination, Sukawati Market. It's another market that sell souvenirs and not much difference with the previous two. I don't know about you, but I prefer to have privacy while doing my shopping, not voices and hands everywhere promoting stuffs. And fyi, when you are doing shopping at any of the souvenir markets, you can MUST bargain up to 70%. And if you are still not satisfy, walk away and they will offer an even lower price! But still there is nothing interested me to buy. Unless I own a new house because there is a lot of house deco stuffs you can get from here.
After a short walk in Sukawati Market, we then headed to Uluwatu (entrance fees Rp10k) to watch sunset. Nice one and a must go too! We missed the kecak dance though. And after Uluwatu sunset, we headed to Jimbaran for seaside candlelight seafood dinner. From our study, we planned to go for Lia Cafe, but our driver discourage us and suggest us to try Baliku Seafood Restaurant. No doubt, the food is good but ..its quite pricey. Rp750k for sharing of 5. The feeling of having dinner on seaside (on the beach itself) is really nice, but I don't like the idea that it is lit only by candle.. that is too dark!
We call it a day and back to our hotel Masa Inn for a rest.
Day 4: 180111
It's our last day in Bali. So on that day, we did not dreadfully drag ourselves up. Instead we end our beauty sleep at 8am and have our breakfast then proceed to Duty Free Shop (DFS). There you can get the branded things with duty free. Also available is Bali local products. I'm not sure about the price but my dictionary doesn't define that as quite cheap.
We then continue to Tanah Lot. On the way, we stop at a shop selling the famous Kopi Luwak, which is really an expensive coffee, but to no avail.. I do not know how to enjoy coffee. LOL.
We then reach Tanah Lot (entrance fees Rp10k) and enjoy the scenic view. It would be better to come here and watch the sunset, but due to our flight is in the evening, we have to make it here in the noon which cause us sunburnt! Haha.. anyhow, the view is really nice and worth to go.
After Tanah Lot, we really had too much time to be spent before departing to airport. So we end up going back to Kuta town to walk around, since we haven't really spend time wandering around there. It's a nice small city walk and I spent a lot at Matahari Square buying junk foods! LOL. The price in the food mart is cheaper compare to what I had saw in the past few days. There is another mall nearby named discovery shopping mall. But we didn't make it there.
We then rush to Kuta Beach for awhile. The waves is really strong that I don't see anyone swimming. I guess it's better to surf at that type of wave condition. That was our last spot before we head to the airport and say byebye to Bali.
Overall, we can say to be so lucky all along this trip. The driver told us it's been raining cat and dog the day before we came. Although it still rains while we were there, but we manage to do what we planned to do and the sun do come out to set for us to see at Uluwatu (before we reach there, it is raining!). In addition to the last plate of the famous babi guling! (We had the last plate before they close shop and they are closing for a few days because they are shifting away!) And the rain stop for us to have our seaside dinner at Jimbaran. Plus a lot a lot more. We are lucky! =)
The whole trip include air ticket cost me RM1400. (a bit off my budget though)
p/s : I will upload the pictures and more information tentatively.
p/s : I think I made a lot of grammar and language mistake in this whole
