BEAM @ Bandar Sri Damansara

This hide out place is found by LCL.
Located in Bandar Sri Damansara, the corner lot of an old shop lot area, which mostly consists of car repairing workshop.
Exterior look of the shop might not seem interesting, but it's a different story when you step in.
Heavily smells of coffee and sound proof from the noise from the workshops outside.
I like the environment, especially the coffee smells that immediately energize me.
I would like to give thumbs up for the service of the staffs.
Once we enter, the friendly staff approach us and find us a seat. And volunteering to offer us another seat when it is vacant, knowing the first seat we have is a little bit sunny. This service was different with the other cafès we went before, where everything is self service.
Beam Signature Ice Coffee RM10. Not bad :)
 Hot Mocha RM12. Nice but..
Not up to the level of mocha I'd tasted in Melbourne. Maybe I should bring some  marshmallow next time and dip it in, to see actually is the main ingredients for the taste I'm looking for is marshmallow.
Our non-working Saturday relaxing moment :)
If you wonder how big is the size of the cup, it is not much taller than an iPhone 4.
Quality over quantity mindset.
 Roasted Chicken Panini RM18.
This is very nice! Like it so much especially the cheese they used :)

Overall, this is one of the best cafè in Malaysia we'd been and we will be coming back someday  :)

Caffe Bene @ Solaris

Needless to say much.

Bingsu or bingsoo is a very popular and elaborate snack/dessert in Korea, especially during the summer season. This snack is composed of ice shavings and various ingredients such as sweetened condensed milk, fruit syrups, various fruits such as strawberries, kiwifruit, and bananas, small pieces of tteok (rice cake), chewy jelly bits, and cereal flakes. It is often topped with ice cream or frozen yogurt. - Wikimedia.
Coffee Bingsu & Green Tea Bingsu RM12.80 each; 6% tax not inclusive.
Unique but over rated. Tasteless - taste of ice shaving. In Malaysia, this is call ais kacang.

Coffee Stain by Joseph @ Publika

Updating of blog has been slow lately.
Busy. But finally we able to go back to the 'coffee fix' lifestyle! Hooraay  :)
And we made it to Coffee Stain to explore the highly talked about ice cube coffee.
Cost at RM15.90 per glass.
Hrmm.. not to my liking.
The ice cube melted too slow to diffuse the coffee taste.
End up, I tasted milk. Strong milk taste over coffee taste which always make me puke.
I hate milk!
And to save the situation, I add up my espresso from affogato into it. What a waste.
So, ice cube coffee was not a so brilliant idea.
Affogato cost at RM12.90.
This was nice.
This is the second best affogato I've tasted, apart from the one from Melaka.
The ice cream was special as it had fragments of coffee cube inside it.
Which adds more coffee taste to it  :)

Worth to try? Maybe.
Will come back? Nope.

p/s: picture was taken with my new Mi3. Found that the pictures look too long - ugly. Hope the new setting will make it better  :(

BBQ Chicken @ The Curve

I remembered having BBQ Chicken few years back which doesn't impressed me thus I did not went back anymore. Until recently, my sister told me it's very delicious and it's different from what I had few years back.
So brought along Living Social voucher, we had dinner here.

Pane Mushroom Soup RM12.90. Nice!

Korean Charbroiled Meal RM17.90. Not bad.

Korean Charbroiled Ala Carte RM9.50. The ala-carte size is enough for me. Shouldn't have ordered the meal set. Didn't know that ala carte come with mashed potato and salad.

Sous-vide Spoon Pizza RM28.50.
My first experience with spoon pizza. The base is make from pancake which is sweet and the topping is fill with a lot of cheese and chicken pieces and French fries. Sorry but I couldn't accept the taste of this. The pancake smells very butter and sweet and couldn't match with the salty cheese.

Artisan Roast Cafe @ PJ

Life had been so busy. For unclear reason.
How I'd wish we could hang out enjoying coffees and cakes as often as last time.
But we know we couldn't anymore
Somehow.. by chance...
In hunt of my craving for Australian Mocha.. we stop by Artisan Coffee for a quick fix.
It's located in middle of manufacturing area, which somehow amaze me.
The environment inside is OK but not as cosy as I wish it is.
My butt was pained by the wooden chair actually  :P
We shared a cup of mocha (RM12) and a slice of red velvet (RM11) .. talking about catching time.
First sip on the mocha.. no.. it's not the taste I'm looking for. Those I had in Australia.  :(
I should continue my hunt and have a relax weekend... Someday...
