::Coconut Flower @ Telok Gong::

Its the month of the year again - September!
A month that will gather up the 3 of us.
This time we opt for Telok Gong. A place we came together 3 years back. Just to get back that 'young' feeling here.

Coconut Prawns RM28- one of the famous dish here. (as I was told) Does not impressed me though. The prawns is not too fresh. The curry is not as tasty as I expected.

Marmite Crab RM42. Big fatty crabs with loads of meats. But the marmite sauce disappointed us though. Shouldn't have opt for this flavour.
Steam siakap asam style RM50. The price of this kinda shock me.
Belacan Kangkung RM8
Happy birthday to my two besties!~ =)
p/s: Mango cake from Bakery Cottage.. it's yummy!
Finally the 3 of us =)
As always during September and December =)

::Fish Valley @ Semenyih::

It's all begin with a picture from a friend FB.
A click to google search.
And here my family will be almost every Sunday for lunch.
They love the serene environment.
Out from hassle of city.
Not to mention, it locates deep inside. Near to Nirvana. The same route to Sg. Tekala.
And half way, you will wonder, am I on the right track?
Thailand style of restaurant.
Nyonya Prawns. Medium size RM40.
Greenies. Medium size RM12.
Salty egg squids. Uhh.. I think this combination is not nice. The squid is very tough plus dry.
Bangkok style steam tilapia. RM45.

p/s: affordable price. serene environment. ok. recommended to try.

::Ong Kee @ Ipoh::

Here I am again! In Ipoh for 3 time in a year.
First was business trip. Second was pit stop while on the way to Cameron and now third time - pit stop while on the way to Penang! =)
We went back to the same restaurant though.

As you might find there, there is two shop name Ong Kee. One was corner lot and one at opposite road. I tried the corner lot on my previous trip and this time round, I headed to the opposite of the road.

Quite salty!
Not as 'crispy' as I expected.
Not as soft as I expected.

This time, the foods disappointed me. I'm wondering are these 2 shops really share the same kitchen/ cook? Hrmm..

::Tau Fu Fah @ Ipoh Town ::

Tau fu fah!!~ In Ipoh Town!
You can either queue up by leg or by car! Haha..
We did both! Queue up by car means something like touch and go system. Wait for the one in front finish their parts and its your turn next.
Only 80 cent a bowl.
Very nice!!! I can be addicted to this!

::Gurney Drive Food Court @ Penang ::

We reached Penang! =)
After check in our room at Berjaya Hotel, here we are strolling around Gurney Drive.
Not much place we can go as time already ticking at 5pm and it's raining!
After a walk in Gurney Plaza, we try our luck at the food court nearby.
Not so lucky though. Most of the stalls were not open as the rain comes pouring down.
Oh.. Fried Kuey Teow! Nice~
Mua Chi!! ^^
The first Laksa for this Penang trip which tasted nice until .. I tried the one at Air Itam Market :p
Rojak!

::Teo Chew Meng @ Georgetown ::

Something new for me to try in Penang.

The famous Mee Suah Tao of Teo Chew Meng Restaurant.
Tasted like shark fin soup and is abundant with seafoods! We ordered the one with oysters.We tried the seafood longevity mee too. This one is full with seafoods as well. From far, the smell of butter already fragrant the environment.

p/s: worth a try but for me is so-so only.

::Wood Fire Pizza@Jalan Macalister, Penang::

I was introduced to this by my tour guide during my last visit on last year. And this year, it is my turn to introduce it to the others.
Call me exaggerating, but in order to have this pizza, you have to call to pre-book, at least 2 hour earlier. Although stall is open at 630pm, but they serve only those who had ordered and those who did not will have to wait for their turn which might take up to 4 hour, or just end up with disappointment - come back again next time.
One of the best pizza I had tried so far. Juicy and cheesy enough for my taste bud. One bite makes you crave for more. But .. after 2 slices, you might feel a little full already.
Pricing at small RM8, medium RM11 and large RM18 - it is not too expensive and worth a try!
We ordered the large (10') mix special (highly recommended).

Location:
Restaurant Kim Sun San - beside Red Rock Hotel, opposite Esso Mobil, Jalan Macalister.
(This is the description given by my friend. I don't have the co-ordinate either but this few landmarks says it all =) )

::Dim Sum @ Bali Hai, Penang::

Dim Sum as breakfast.
This restaurant operates as dim sum center in the morning and seafoods center in the night.
Love the cozy environment.
Various types of dim sum. Self service to pick your favorite.
