::Restoran Yi Poh @ Seremban::

My first double date 'vacation'.
Our main target is Melaka. But we stop by Seremban for something nice.
This is a request from dear Yunn :)

Hakka Mi. Too plain for me. This mi reminds me those I had in Taiwan.
This is the special lou shu fen that Yunn intro to us to try. Nice and special! The mi is actually laksa mi. Just cook it into normal chinese dry mee style (gon lou). Nice anyway. *I don't know what I'm mumbling*

The Hakka Mi again. Plain!
Pork Ball I love! No. I love the one I had in Ipoh better.
Hearty breakfast and start our journey to Melaka!~

::Nasi Ayam Hoe Kee @ Jonker Street, Melaka::

One of Melaka famous foods - Chicken Rice Ball. There is a number of shops in Melaka where you can get this. And this round we'd chosen Nasi Ayam Hoe Kee.
Why this one? I don't know. We were walking using the back lane, unconfident with the route, we stop and ask a local aunty who was washing plates and the aunty introduce us to this one.
Typical interior of Melaka's.
The kitchen which was at the front door. Ahhh.. Open kitchen concept. =.=lll
Coconut drink - to soothe the hot day.
Here is the chicken rice ball. This set is for 2 person. We shared 4.
I still don't understand what is so special? Roll the rice into ball shape will make it tastier? *ok.. ignore me*
Steam white chicken. Portion for 2 person.
No .. I like the one at Ipoh better. And that's why I say Melaka is famous for the chicken rice ball, so we should just order the rice ball and not the chicken.. *don't whack me*

:: Jonker 88 @ Jonker Street, Melaka ::

A place I always stop by every time I'm in Melaka. For the good taste? For the popularity? No idea. Just a habit.
The usual long queue. What is the reason they are here? Is it same as mine? Habit?
No idea. I just join the queue but my advise is.. please secure a seat before queue for the foods.
The food menu. I'd never tried anything else but and only Nyonya Asam Laksa. LOL.
Desserts menu.
Baba Chendol RM3. With the thick coconut milk and brown sugar taste. Owh.. the coconut milk taste makes me feels fat.
Sagu Gula Melaka RM3. I had a better one back in PJ.
Nyonya Asam Laksa. Nice!~ And this is the reason I can never choose other than this.
Baba Curry Laksa. Hrmm.. No. Not to my taste bud.

::Capitol Satay @ Melaka ::

Coming to Melaka, how can we miss out having Satay Celup, right?
Previously when I'm here, friends brought me to Ban Lee Siang. But this group of people I'm coming with this time, insist on trying Capitol Satay. So here we are at 5pm queuing up!
See how dramatic this is? Shop open at 5pm. We reach slightly after 5pm and here we are on a loooong queue! @@
During the queue, some gave up and just went to the satay celup shop just few stone throw away. Are we giving up? No, although I really wanted to. Cause they said, the last time they came, they gave up too. So this time must make it. =.=lll
Here we are.. almost our turn, after 1 and a half hour of queue!! I was swearing in my heart that if this doesn't taste good .. i'm going to whack these people that makes me queue for so long.
Picking up our 'celups' thingy. What so special? Not much of choices. And just ordinary choices. Sigh... If I don't remember wrongly, Ban Lee Siang have more choices.
Luckily, the celup sauce doesn't disappoint me! This taste good. Not as spicy as BLS. Tasted sweet as I noticed every time they add in one scoop of peanuts, they will also add in one scoop of brown sugar. This is delicious and thick with peanuts. Nice that we drank this.

Err.. I wonder do they recycle or change a new one. I doubt they gave a new one for each table as they came to top up quite frequently and efficiently when the sauce level decrease.
Ewwww... good foods isn't always clean, don't it?

::Nadeje @ Dataran Pahlawan, Melaka ::

And to end our trip .. just like how you end a meal - desserts!
Here we are at the top of the building of Dataran Pahlawan.
Nadeje. Hunting for Mille Crepe of course! =)
I love to be seated at sofa. Especially when it is for a cup of tea, a slice of cake and dozens of chit-chatting topics!
Original flavor of mille crepe costing RM9 per slice.
Sharing 2 person for this slice.
Feels so good at first bite. The cream melted in my mouth just wash away the tired of walking whole day. But ... after few bites, I put it aside. And it's lucky I'm not greedy at the beginning and insist of sharing this. Hee hee...

There goes our first double date 'vacation'. Love it! A whole day with great foods and love ones ;)
