::Sanuki Udon @ Taman Bukit Desa::

Again .. found out this place from food blogs which claimed for its cheap and nice udon.
If it's not for the GPS, I don't think we can ever find this hidden place. Even with GPS, we got lost too =.=lll

Side dish .. The fried chicken RM3 .. for me is so-so only la. But LCL said it tasted very nice. The portion is so small too.

For the Udon part, there is eight selection which price from RM5-RM6 only. The topping is additional order for the price of RM1-RM2. (egg, wakanabe, ebi tempura, kakiege, kitsune)

Cha Cheong Cold Mee RM6 + egg topping RM1 .. not bad.
Wakanabe (Seaweed) Hot Udon RM6 + Ebi tempura (RM2/each)
Ahh.. the ebi tempura disappointed me. It is so small - a shrimp. But can't expect big prawn from RM2 isn't it?
The soupy broth is nice! But the mee is a bit elastic for me.

::Little Jakarta @ Taman Danau Desa::

Was browsing through food blogs for what to savour, and come across this restaurant.
Apparently it is just open on July 2010.

The interior which is very 'Jakarta' *according to LCL .. I'd got no idea .. Never been to Jakarta*

Bring your laptop and online using the free wi-fi and get yourself a free Javanese Coffee. *limited promotion time only*
Anyway .. what's the difference between Java Coffee and other Coffee? Eeii.. I'm not a fan of coffee *indeed I can't take coffee* .. So I got no idea too.. :P

Javanese Special Cendol RM4.50
The yellow thingy isn't corn, but instead is jackfruit (nangka) .. very very nice and special. It's kinda different with local cendol, but I couldn't tell is it due to the milk or the brown sugar.
Gentle reminder: better finish up before the ice melt. Once the ice melted, it's kinda tasteless ad.

Nasi Uduk Komplit RM8.50
This is so nice! Love the rice which is cook with lemongrass .. the lemongrass scent on the rice is making me drooling :P
Love the crispy fried chicken .. soft yet crispy.
Love the sambal on the egg .. a bit sour a bit spicy.
Don't like the tahu thing *dono call what*
But the whole set is very appetizing =)

Nasi Ayam Rendang RM8.90
Err.. if that is the name .. hehe ..
A same set as above, just the fried chicken had been replace with Chicken Rendang, which tasted very nice too!

Thumbs up!

-Baking Lesson #4-

Cream Puffs!
It is so easy to be made.. I can't believe it is sold so expensive.
Recipe here.
I'd change from instead of using all purpose flour, I used bread flour which will give more crispy effect.
For the use electric mixer part to beat it, I didnt do it. I just keep stiring it using my hand and spatula, even after remove from heat until it is warm, then add in egg. For the egg part, I didn't beat it. I add one, then mix it until blended with the flour and add one more and mix again. Using hand + spatula as well.

First trial.. looks and tasted real yummy ^^

Second trial.. the custard cream failed.. again.
P/S : Happy trying! ^^

::Full House @ Sunway Giza::

Gathering dinner + Birthday Celebration for TAC, CH and WN.

Our appetizer - Kek Kukus from Bandung. Nice!

Nice sauce .. which actually is those tomato sauce on spagetthi.
The pathetic seafood spagetthi .. because the amount of seafoods really 'amazing'.

Nice sauce too =)

Cream puffs as birthday cake ^^ *special isn't it*

The family picture of the Kepong gang :)

All in all, I don't really favour Full House. The food portion is too little, despite the price - although pricing is affordable but still not worth the portions. It's a nice place, nice ambience for gathering and yum cha session, but definitely a No-No for solely meals. [personal opinion of mine]

::Miyagi @ Bandar Baru Bangi::

Nice Japanese restaurant =)
A selected place for my YunnYunn birthday =)

Price range from RM28-RM48 per set; and varies from sushi sets to bento sets to ramen sets.

Chicken Teppanyaki set RM28

Grilled mackarel set RM28.. yummy! ^^

:: Fish & Co. @ 1 Utama ::

So this is my request. The a bit grand meal for our once a month. ^^

Fish & Co. =)

Our seafood platter for 2. RM48.90 *I wonder is it a bit over-priced?*
The prawn is nice! If they put more garlic butter cream, then would be better. The rice is nice too, but I don't think that is garlic rice, felt like it is more to nasi beryani. The fish .. eii .. dory fish? Not really like it as it is too soft. Oyster is normal. Sotong is better if it is not too chewy. LOL.. I just love to complaint :P

Passion fruit juice RM10.90.
Big glass enough to be share by 2 ppl.
This one nice!~

The final product. Hehe..
See.. I can take off my shrimp meat and left its exoskeleton nicely~

The wastage. French fries.. nah..
