After safely landed at Don Mueng Aiport, we board A2 bus to Victory Monument, which is park at the provided area within the airport, along the arrival platform at entrance No.7 of Terminal 1. It cost 30 baht each person and services every 20 minutes.
From Victory Monument, we took the minivan to Hua Hin.It cost 180 baht per person.
(The Hua Hin vans board in the alleyway next to Century Movie Plaza close to the stairs at the southern end of Victory Monument BTS station. From the skytrain station, take the walkway towards south, descend the staircase on the east side to street level (So you can just walk over to the building on the right hand side and take the in-door staircase down). The minibus area is next to the stairs. Look for a small table with “Cha Am, Hua Hin” written in English to buy your ticket.)
After check in our hotel and have a quick lunch, we walk to Hua Hin Market Village and took TukTuk to Plearnwan. Tuk tuk cost us THB140/ tuktuk.
Plearnwan is a place with opportunities for photos. Other than that, nothing really interesting.
This is the entrance of Plearnwan.
Mini stalls selling souvenirs.
Less than 30 minute.. bye bye Plearnwan.
We took tuk tuk to Hua Hin night market for our dinner. The short distance cost us another THB140.
The whole street is filled with seafood restaurant.
We settle down at Lung Ja Seafood :)
Mixed Vegie.
Thai Green Curry. This was too spicy for me.
From Krabi to Phuket to Hua Hin. the best green curry I'd ever tasted is still the first green curry I'd tried - at Krabi.
Grilled Squid.
Too chewy. Not to my liking too.
Our dinner above include a bottle of Chang and one coconut drink cost us THB460. Not too bad.
After our dinner, we walk over to Chatsila Night Market which is interlink with Hua Hin night market. Nothing much can be buy here though.
There goes our Day 1. Stay tuned :)

Hi Pei Yin,
I had seen the post about your Hua Hin trip. I have a plan go to there in November. So could you help me some information about Mini Bus in Victory Monument? I travel with some luggage, so the Mini Bus will take me include my luggage or not?
Hope to heard any feedback from you soon.
Thanks,
Son Tung
Hi Son Tung,
The mini bus will take your luggage as well. But, don't bring too much luggage as there is not many space in the minivan. We had to put the luggage on our lap when there is not enough space. Some buy extra one seat in the minivan just to put their luggage.
If you are going in a group, I highly recommend you to hire a driver instead. Request for driver that will bring you to tourist area in Hua Hin as well, because the tuk tuk in Hua Hin is expensive.
Hope this helps.
Hi,
Thank so much for helpful information. I saw some bad review about mini bus in Victory Monument. The driver didn't carefully on the road. I feel a little worry about it. And one thing, my luggage size S or M. Will they take me luggage and if not. Can i sure the ticket for luggage always sell for me.
Thanks,
Son Tung
Hi,
Sorry i forgot one thing. From previous your reply "If you are going in a group, I highly recommend you to hire a driver instead. Request for driver that will bring you to tourist area in Hua Hin as well, because the tuk tuk in Hua Hin is expensive". It mean we can hire a taxi in Hua Hin to go to some point we want or we hire a taxi from Bangkok to Hua Hin. Which the taxi brand i can trust in there?
Thanks,
Son Tung
Hi,
If you can put your luggage on your lap, it will be good. If not, they can help to put your luggage if there is space. Yes, you can always add one more ticket for your luggage.
Last time, we hire taxi inside Hua Hin to go to 3 tourist attraction - which we had chosen Santorini Park, Swiss Sheep Farm & Hua Hin Royal Palace. It costs us THB1400.
My friend hire a driver from Bangkok. The driver fetch them from Bangkok to Hua Hin, then 3 tourist attraction in Hua Hin; and back to Bangkok the next day. It's more convenient and comfortable. But I don't have the contact. I will try to ask my friend and let u know.
The minivan is not comfortable, and drive very fast.
