.The Last Song.
From Cecilia Ahern to Nicholas Sparks :)
Thumbs up for this book. It make my tears drop too. Well .. I guess perhaps my tears drop down too easily. But seriously the storyline is so touching. Not about the guy-girl love part, but the daughter-father love part. Awesome~ Well .. is every parent that noble, is the question. *shrug*
Basically the story is about Ronnie spending summer with his dad, *as usual - typical story book - parents divorced*, and within that few months, she change a lot to someone she never thought she would be. Living with her dad, after remaining alienated from him for 3 years, only to learn that her dad was a great man - sacrificing a lot for his children's happiness - particularly not being selfish and would do whatever that is best for his childrens. In the end of the story, Ronnie's dad passed away *so sad*, and there it goes all the regrets that she did not do enough for her dad, that she had wrongly blamed and hated him for 3 years, that she did all the things she did just to hurt her dad. Its just too late when every truth is revealed out.
Hrmm .. this book touched me in two way. 1st: Never judge something based on emotions, perhaps there is hidden truth that we couldn't see with the eyes of anger and hate. 2nd: appreciate everything and do what you can while you can, not waiting when everything is too late and only left with regret.
Nice story. *except the typical part that every story must have divorced parents =.=lll*

*P/S : I Love You*
I'm done with both movie and book of this P/S : I Love You.
Read the book one year ago, but re-read again, remembering it make me cries. Too bad .. this time I find it bored me. Lol. Perhaps because I already know what will comes up every now and then.
Well .. I guess this story is famous enough and doesn't need my review doesn't it? Hehe.. I personally love the book more than the movie. And the way both presenting it is actually quite different le. The movie kinda boring.
Nevertheless, its all about a widow struggling through her life after the death of her husband, relying on the letter her late husband left her. An encouragement note for each month. Indeed very thoughtful of him. Very romantic in a way too :)
Life is indeed hard when someone you love left you. But the cruel fact is, life still goes on and nothing will change even if you just hang on there to the memories that wouldn't be alive anymore. I'd been through this and I believe although it's gone but the memories will still be there, regardless it's a bad or good memory. And indeed life goes on but time does heals and eventually everything will be fine and you will find your heart re-open again. So .. don't worry, be happy. Give time more time ;)
Just .. don't look back and regret it. Frankly, I kinda regret that I took so long and I let go so many chances, just because I hold on too tight to the past. But somehow I believe, if it is meant to be yours, it will be yours. :)
p/s : i miss u.

.Thanks for the Memories.
Basically the story is about Justin and Joyce. Both lost love - divorced and both have nothing in common at all. The novel follows Justin and Joyce in turn, as they happen to come in contact.
It starts with Justin, a divorcee art history and a restless man, giving guest lecture in Dublin and persuaded to donated blood, and Joyce on the other hand lost her unborn baby in a tragic, received blood and later on end up with a divorce.
And continues with Joyce remembering things she shouldn't. And she keep on having this dee ja vu feeling but she can't figure it out why. But slowly, following her instinct, she came to found out that the person she feel very connected to is Justin. While Justin on the other hand, doesn't have dee ja vu feeling nor weird memories that doesn't belong to him, but he feel the connection between him and Joyce, a woman she keep on bumping into by - not chance, and everytime when they are nearby, his heart keeps skipping a beat.
Story goes on with Joyce came to met Justin's daughter, heard about how Justin would want the person that receives his blood gives him in return. Although she got no proof that the transfused blood she received is from Justin, but following her instinct, she believe she does. And she anonymously did the things Justin wishes he will get from the person that receive his blood.
And it came to a part where, Justin were to choose either to meet Joyce - the woman she feel so connected to or to meet the person that receive his blood, not knowing that both is a same person. When he found out that they both is the same person, he got mad and don't believe what is happening, don't believe in all the deejavu stories Joyce told him.
But still, story unfold to, it end up with they being together ... well .. pretty predictable. Every fairy tales have such happy ending. Fake. This is why I said this story is kinda .. not realistic. More over with the .. deejavu feelings and memories received by blood transfer. Oh .. if that is really true, in that case, I would like to inject some of my blood to him.

.A Place Called Here.
Jeng jeng jeng .. I'm finally done with this book. After what seem like almost 2 month. Too much of a reading nowdays. *sweat*
Had been hooked up with Cecelia Ahern since I read her P/S : I Love You. =)
Storyline is nice. Touching although quite mumbly. *I mean P/S : I Love You*
Short review of this book : It's all about Sandy Shortt obsession to look for missing things - people, socks, keys, watch. Which started when her childhood friend, Jenny disappear. While on a mission to look for Jack's brother, she got disappear herself, into a place called here. A place where all the missing people and things had gone to. Being here, she found all the things she had spent her life looking for. But her obsession is still there, it's just that it had change into looking for a way home. While Jack, who believe Sandy is the one who can answer her prayers, change direction from looking for his brother to look for Sandy. As he believes, as long as he found Sandy, Sandy will be able to find his brother. And in the end of the day, all the questions and curiousity were answered. Jack found his brother and Sandy as well. While for Sandy, she no longer had the obsession as she already found what she is looking for.
A nice book and story. With a lot of inspirational words/senteces, which I quote here and there. But it doesn't touch my heart nor make me cry as P/S: I love you and If only you could see me now .. did. Perhaps it's because I took too long to read it, stoping here and there, so it couldn't reach the level of compiling that 'feeling'. Later on, perhaps I shall review about these 2 books. A nice one ;)
p/s : I wonder, is there really a place called here. How nice if there is. It's a place where you find all the lost things include sounds, feelings, smells, laughters etc. If there is such place, I want to be there to find back my lost heart. A believe that love does exist.
I'm currently reading this.
