*P/S : I Love You*

I'm done with both movie and book of this P/S : I Love You.
Read the book one year ago, but re-read again, remembering it make me cries. Too bad .. this time I find it bored me. Lol. Perhaps because I already know what will comes up every now and then.

Well .. I guess this story is famous enough and doesn't need my review doesn't it? Hehe.. I personally love the book more than the movie. And the way both presenting it is actually quite different le. The movie kinda boring.

Nevertheless, its all about a widow struggling through her life after the death of her husband, relying on the letter her late husband left her. An encouragement note for each month. Indeed very thoughtful of him. Very romantic in a way too :)

Life is indeed hard when someone you love left you. But the cruel fact is, life still goes on and nothing will change even if you just hang on there to the memories that wouldn't be alive anymore. I'd been through this and I believe although it's gone but the memories will still be there, regardless it's a bad or good memory. And indeed life goes on but time does heals and eventually everything will be fine and you will find your heart re-open again. So .. don't worry, be happy. Give time more time ;)

Just .. don't look back and regret it. Frankly, I kinda regret that I took so long and I let go so many chances, just because I hold on too tight to the past. But somehow I believe, if it is meant to be yours, it will be yours. :)

p/s : i miss u.

*A Walk to Remember.*

I don't know what makes me downloaded this movie and watch it. After what seem like centuries.

A simple and quite predictable story.
Story begin with Langdon, a popular student with undefined future, and friends playing prank that goes wrong. It end up with him held responsible and forced to participate in after school community service activities. Also in this activities was Jamie, daughter of a pastor, a girl full with ambitions. Then on one of the activities, a school play, there it started when Langdon was captivated by Jamie's beauty. And from there, he start to develop strong feeling for her. A practical joke from Langdon's friends on Jamie brought them together. And things seems to goes well until Jamie told Langdon that she was actually suffering from leukemia. Despite that, Langdon proposes to Jamie and they got married. And Langdon making all Jamie wishes came true before her death. And yea .. story end with Jamie passed away, and 4 years later, Langdon became someone he never thought he will be. And there's the saying "Jamie has faith in me. She makes me want to be different, better" :)

Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps
no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always
perseveres.
Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will
cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.

[1 Corinthians 13: 4-8 8]

p/s : I wonder how the story goes in a book.

*500 Days of Summer*

This is not a love story. It is a story about love.

It isn't some witty metaphor about sunshine and happiness. It's a story of counts of days in the relationship of a boy and a girl. Boy meets girl. Boy fell in love. Girl doesn't.

Boy believe in love, convince that this girl is his soulmate, the true love that has been destined to spend his life with.
Girl believe true love is just fantasy, doesn't want to deal with relationship or labels.

Nevertheless they got together. Doing all the things couples do, except the fact that they were unofficial couple, couldn't be label as one as the girl doesn't want to.

Girl's a bitch. At first glance, she sure seems like one. Boy has to be with the mean pretty girl so he'll recognize his true love waiting in the wings. Girl is not particularly cruel or cold. If anything, she's completely honest with him about what she wants out of their relationship. But, love may have blinded him to some things which should’ve been apparent from the start.

Still, in the end, boy wants to make things clear. Relationship change into rocking boat. Break up.
Girl found someone else, finally believe in this thing called love.
Boy move on, doesn't want to believe in love anymore.

p/s: Yep. This movie make my tears drop. A fiction story that somehow isn't fiction at all in my life. How similar is the similarity. Very very very the similar. Very. Much. Except the role play has been of the opposite way.
