Birthday celebration for the sister.

Heard about Black Market for long time already but had never been here due to the menu looks expensive.

Surprisingly they have menu for set meal which starts from RM18.

And to our surprise, for birthday celebration, there is a complimentary of a bottle of wine. :)

Hainanese Pork Chop Rice Set RM18

Salmon Carbonara Linguine Set RM18

Mushroom Soup which comes with one of the set.

White Mushroom Chicken Chop Set RM18

Grilled Chicken Set RM28

Thai Fish Fillet Set RM18.

Overall, the meals was worth the price of RM18. But you can't put too high expectations la.

Fish Valley @ Semenyih

We are here again! XD

As usual, we will order the dishes we usually did, because it's our favorite!

But this time, we tried out Peanut Fish RM45

Fried tilapia with peanuts and sweet and sour gravy. This is so good! Fish was fried till crispy. Gravy was sweet yet sour enough to increase your appetite.

This will be my next favorite.

This time we opt for red seafood tomyam RM20 for small.

Too spicy.

Kam Heong lala RM25 for M size. Good.

But the Kam Heong in Ijok is still my favorite.

Seafood Tofu in Wok RM12 for small.

4 Vegie Mix RM20 for M size.

As usual, a satisfying meal.

Teak Cafe @ Batu Pahat

I think this place should be well-known in Batu Pahat for it's special design where the furniture is made from Teak Wood.

Pass-by each time we were in BP, but never had the chance to tried as it was close.

This time we made it!

I was actually surprise that the menu consists of local foods, instead of Western as it is a cafe.

Lamb Briyani RM16.90.

This is really good! The lamb was cook until tender and the gravy tasted so good!

Chicken Briyani RM16.90

Meanwhile for this one, the rice is OK but the chicken rendang was not up to my expectation. It carries the taste of sweet rather than spicy.

Fish & Chip RM16.50

This was normal. Nothing special.

Rendang Chicken rice RM13.90

This was also not up to my expectation.

Dessert. 2 scoops of ice cream each. RM5.90/ glass.

The service was super good although the dishes were so-so except the Lamb Briyani :)

Aquatic Sanctuary @ Broga

A newly discovered place for us :)

It is really crowded but the wait was not too long. So it is still OK.

However, weather was so hot.

Famous for their fish porridge. RM30 for 800gm of tilapia.

That was cheap for us. This pot of porridge catered for 7 pax!

Total cost for 7 pax RM100.40.

It's quite cheap and worth to be tried once. Foods tasted good but not the best we had.

An Viet @ Sunway Pyramid

It's been years since I last came to Sunway Pyramid.

Heard about this restaurant that serve good Vietnamese dishes. So here we are.

Basil plant were placed at each table. Complimentary for customers to pick and put into the dishes.

We tried the egg coffee RM8.90.

Smooth textured. Not bad.

Feeling not so hungry, we shared Bun Cha set RM22.90.

Turn out the portion was not too big. And indeed it was tasty.

The pork was grilled nicely. And the broth is good.

The lala in sweet sour coconut soup was good too.

Vietnam affogato to end our meal. RM9.90

Not bad. But portion too less for me :)

Soi 55 @ Solaris

Groupon was offering discount voucher for this restaurant, with  RM60 for RM100 cash voucher.

After read through the review, I bought it.

Pandan Chicken 6 pieces RM20.

Not up to my expectation.

Steamed tilapia with garlic & lime RM45.

The broth was slightly spicy and the sour taste does not came out. Not up to my expectation. In addition, the fish smells of 'mud' which further reduce the marks.

Green curry RM20 small.

The chicken meat given was in generous portion. However, the taste of the curry was not the best I'd tried.

Overall, the experience here was quite disappointing. And I wonder why there is so many good review and so crowded.

Motorino @ Sky Avenue, Genting

A short trip up hill to the newly opened Sky Avenue.

There's a lot of restaurant here for your choice.

We opt for Motorino as we heard it has the Michelin award.

Services was quite prompt.

They serve pizza and wines.

There's only a few selection of pizza types.

We opt for Amaritciana - RM48 for member.

Pizza consists of tomato sauce/ mozzarella/ minced chicken/ scallion/ pecorino/ fresh chili

It was just so-so for us as the ingredients was not generously given.

We add on 3 roasted chicken wing - RM18 for member.

The recipe was new for us. It was good, however not too impressive.

We were slightly disappointed as it did not really up to our expectation. Or perhaps we expected too much. After all, our tongue was adapted to Malaysian 'heavy-taste' bud.

Silver Spoon @ Kepong

This restaurant had been there for quite some time, but never tried it out because the name is so premium and we worried that it will be expensive. And finally, we stepped in ;)

Fresh orange RM8. Really fresh :)

Mushroom soup RM12. Would love it more if there is more bite size mushroom :)

Crispy calamari RM18. Good. The wasabi mayo was nice too.

Smoked salmon pizza RM28. Still can't beat the one in NZ though.

Spaghetti Marinara RM29. Normal.

Fish & Chips RM29. I like this! :)

Total bill came up as RM152.75, which I think is reasonable. Food tasted good as well.

Jogoya @ Starhill

Jogoya was having promotion of buy 1 and the second get 50% off.

However, it was only applicable during weekdays. And so, on hubs birthday, we took half day off to relax ourselves :)

I'd been here once when I got my first paycheck. Hubs never been here. So I'd treated him for his birthday meal.

The choices of sushi which we didn't tried any. Lol.

The choices of cold appetizer, which we did not had any too except the oyster.

Choices of salads.

Choices of vegetables and fish. Put in your clip and they'll deliver it to your table.

The fish given was in whole piece, except for salmon and cod fish which was given in slices.

We had few rounds of cod fish.

Choices of Western's style.

Steamboat.

Sukiyaki. Look at the pot =.=llll

Not good in taste as well.

Overall, we are kind of disappointed with the food choice.

It's the same thing cooked in different style.

Well.. just for an experience :)

Naughty Piglets @ Kepong

New shop at Jalan Metro Perdana, Kepong.

I googled and Mr. Google leads me to Naughty Piglets London.

Is this the branch from London? I've no idea. But I don't think so.

Green Apple Lemongrass. RM10. Hrm.. not nice for us.

Naughty Piglet Char Grilled Pork Chop. RM22.

Apparently this is one of their recommended choice. Good choice.

Pork Bolognaise Spaghetti. RM19.80. Nothing to shout about.

Crispy Pork Belly Roulade. RM25.

This dish takes time to be served. The skin was crispy. However, overall not too impressive.
