3D 2N Hat Yai, Thailand

I don't do impromptu trip, especially when it is out of Malaysia border.
However, recently feeling bored with life; as it was too routine - work, home, work, home. I need a life!
Luckily hubby being supportive this time, allowing me for a shopping and makan trip to Hat Yai! Yeah~   :)
I'd immediately buy air ticket and book the hotel. We fly with Air Asia (when did we not?); all in (luggage & pick a seat) cost us RM412 (for 2 pax). While for accommodation, we opt for Red Planet Hotel (formerly known as Tune Hotel) which cost us RM193 for 2 night.

Day 1: Chicken Rice --> Asean Trade Night Market, Green Way Night Market, Central Festival Mall.

Day 2: Chok Dee Dim Sum --> Kim Yong Market --> Kan Eng Restaurant --> The Municipal Park --> Floating Market --> Lee Garden --> Mr. Steak

Day 3: Ching Jie Restaurant --> Last minute shopping @ Kim Yong Market --> Bye Hatyai.

Will go through in details some day! :)

Morganfield's @ IOI City Mall

By using Groupon, we purchase a lunch at Morganfield's IOI City Mall.

Groupon for The Super VIP Platter for 3 to 4 people at the price of RM149.

Everything about oink oink.

Even on the mug.

Because we are in a group of 7, we add on Half Slab of Garlic BBQ Spare Ribs which cost RM26.90.

Yums! The ribs was tendered and fall off the bone effortlessly.

Our Groupon set consists of:

1 x Half Slab Hickory BBQ Spare Ribs (We preferred the Garlic BBQ)

1 x Half Herb Roasted Chicken (Herbs taste was too mild, the chicken almost taste bland)

1 x Smokehouse Bacon Cheeseburger (No comment)

1 x Beer Battered Fish Fillets (The siblings like this. For me, it just so-so)

1 x Spicy Devil Sausage (It is really spicy!)

1 x Herby Hog Sausage

3 x Corn Bread

Crispy French Fries

1 x Garden Salad

3 x Dipping Sauces

We are not able to finished up these and even pack  home the Corn Bread.

Foods was too meaty, we get filled fast.

We celebrated our parents birthday here, and the staff compliment them with a molten lava cake and sang them birthday song. Mom was so happy as it is a new experience for her.

I actually realize that even without Groupon, Morganfield's have discount and promotion from time to time, where the price are compatible with Groupon discount. Do check it out.

Jibby & Co @ Empire Subang

Jibby & Co. at Empire Subang is located on one stand alone building next to Empire Subang.

Wish for a relaxing Post-CNY brunch with hubby.

So he brought me us here.

I love how the design of the cafe are bright from natural lightings.

Environment is cosy and smells of coffee is strong.

This reminds me of the coffee shops in Australia  :)

Cosy design.

Though the chair was not too comfortable for long seating.

We had hot mocha & cappuccino. RM12 and RM11 respectively.

They only serve breakfast set before 11am.

Jibby Big Breakfast RM31.

Really big. I'm unable to finish this up.

Chic Breakie. RM28.

This is nice. The egg was nicely poached. And the yolk was orange. Omega 3 eggs I guess.

The Hangover RM29. Portion was very big due to the fries.

The foods tasted good. Coffee is good. Environment is good. And ambiance is good too.

Perhaps some day we can back for lunch as the breakfast menu was quite pricey.

Namoo Cafe @ IOI City Mall

Yum cha session.

Always heard of the famous Sweet Potato Cake from Namoo Cafe.

Today, we tried it.

Sweet Potato Cake RM12.90

We shared this among 5 people.

Luckily we did. The more you have, you'll start to feel queasy.

It's something like Malaysian traditional kuih - bingka ubi.

Honey Lemon.

The King's Bing Soo RM11.90 - Shaved ice served with Seasonal Mixed Fruits & Nuts.

It's cheaper than the one we had at Caffe Bene.

My sis prefer this. But i prefer Coffee Bingsu.

Erm.. no idea what drink is this :P

Overall, I enjoyed the session.

It's been awhile since I had chance to hang out in cafe.

Life had been hectic. Really?

The Apartment @ E-Curve

No initial plan for welcoming 2016.

Our impromptu plan - Mutiara Damansara.

Was worried about traffic condition and also lack of parking.

To our amaze, traffic was smooth, parking lots have many availability and restaurant was vacant.

We opt for The Apartment.

Although it is NY eve, but they don't restrict us to only choose from set menu.

The cranberry taste was too mild, covered up by the Sprite taste.

Oven Baked Fish RM31.35

Not bad. Didn't thought of Tilapia can be debone and oven baked with cheese this way.

I'd learn something new :)
