::Restaurant Yen@ Batu Kawan::

Seafoods! I'm craving for it!~
I'd heard that Tambun and Batu Kawan is famous for seafoods with cheap pricing. Recommended by a friend, here we are at Ah Yen Seafood Restaurant.
We arrive here with the help of GPS. Initially, we were a bit worry that the route guided by GPS is wrong as it leads us to deep within a village. But .. when you reach the destination, there lays a big restaurant. Big enough that it cross my mind - this meal is not going to be cheap.
We ordered fried mee RM3.50 - this is surprisingly cheap! Note that the portion is not a lot. For single pax I guess.
And I requested rice! Seafood fried rice RM6 will do. I'm seriously craving for rice as I had a lot of mee'S this 3D2N trip.
Vegie RM6 to detox our digestion system after having a lot a lot of foods these 3 days.
Fried tofu RM10. I don't like this. Not nice.
And wooooot! Crabs! And it's salted egg crabs! Note that this is not cheap for RM60/kg. They are famous for the curry crab but with all the heaty stuffs we had in these 3 days, we just skipped the curry version and opt for salted egg. This is so yummy!

p/s: I don't know is there any other better choice of seafoods restaurant around batu kawan/ tambun. Kindly enlighten.

::Restoran Yi Poh @ Seremban::

My first double date 'vacation'.
Our main target is Melaka. But we stop by Seremban for something nice.
This is a request from dear Yunn :)

Hakka Mi. Too plain for me. This mi reminds me those I had in Taiwan.
This is the special lou shu fen that Yunn intro to us to try. Nice and special! The mi is actually laksa mi. Just cook it into normal chinese dry mee style (gon lou). Nice anyway. *I don't know what I'm mumbling*

The Hakka Mi again. Plain!
Pork Ball I love! No. I love the one I had in Ipoh better.
Hearty breakfast and start our journey to Melaka!~

::Nasi Ayam Hoe Kee @ Jonker Street, Melaka::

One of Melaka famous foods - Chicken Rice Ball. There is a number of shops in Melaka where you can get this. And this round we'd chosen Nasi Ayam Hoe Kee.
Why this one? I don't know. We were walking using the back lane, unconfident with the route, we stop and ask a local aunty who was washing plates and the aunty introduce us to this one.
Typical interior of Melaka's.
The kitchen which was at the front door. Ahhh.. Open kitchen concept. =.=lll
Coconut drink - to soothe the hot day.
Here is the chicken rice ball. This set is for 2 person. We shared 4.
I still don't understand what is so special? Roll the rice into ball shape will make it tastier? *ok.. ignore me*
Steam white chicken. Portion for 2 person.
No .. I like the one at Ipoh better. And that's why I say Melaka is famous for the chicken rice ball, so we should just order the rice ball and not the chicken.. *don't whack me*

:: Jonker 88 @ Jonker Street, Melaka ::

A place I always stop by every time I'm in Melaka. For the good taste? For the popularity? No idea. Just a habit.
The usual long queue. What is the reason they are here? Is it same as mine? Habit?
No idea. I just join the queue but my advise is.. please secure a seat before queue for the foods.
The food menu. I'd never tried anything else but and only Nyonya Asam Laksa. LOL.
Desserts menu.
Baba Chendol RM3. With the thick coconut milk and brown sugar taste. Owh.. the coconut milk taste makes me feels fat.
Sagu Gula Melaka RM3. I had a better one back in PJ.
Nyonya Asam Laksa. Nice!~ And this is the reason I can never choose other than this.
Baba Curry Laksa. Hrmm.. No. Not to my taste bud.
