::Tease @ Subang Avenue::

It's been awhile since I update my blog. Had been very busy lately and will reveal it out someday :)
A quick update on a birthday dinner for the bf last month.
TEASE @ Subang Avenue. Bought the voucher from Groupon :p
The interior which was empty. But as the clock ticking to midnight, crowds coming in for drinks. That's what they called the night life here. But I don't really heart the environment of the place. Not a place for me to sit back and enjoy my drinks chit chatting with friends. Nope. I would not select here for that purpose.
Flipping through the choices of drinks :)
He selected white wine to go with the grilled lamb. RM20/ Glass.
I forgotten what drink is this that I'd ordered.
Grilled Lambs. Not bad :)
Seafood Combo RM53. Tasted not bad but I don't think this is worth RM53 in value.
And this year, we got chocolate and mango mousse cake for birthday from Baker's Cottage. Oh.. I don't heart mousse cake.

End of April is approaching and so all the stuffs that keep me occupied in these 2 months. However, I reckon there are also a lot of stuffs to do, which I had abandoned for 2 months. Anyway, I foresee that there will be more time to spare, enjoying foods around, snapping it's picture and share it here with all of you :)

::Jyu Raku @ SS15, Subang::

A surprise birthday dinner from a besties for her BF, which happen to be my friend too (obviously!)
And here we are, 9 of us, a secret gathering in Jyu Raku for a surprise for Cliff :)
I will just go with the foods here.
Complimentary starter for each of us .. potato salad. Nice!
All of us opt for the set menu which price ranges from RM25 above.
I ordered Sake Butter Fish RM28. Hrmm.. The fried garlic rice is superb. Oh.. I pay extra for that. They serve white rice for the set meal anyway. The fish.. so-so for me.
Sake Butter Fish.
I couldn't recall the name of the meals the others had. Anyway.. pictures for you to savour on. Hehe..

Overall, the foods tasted Ok and nice ambience. Worth to give a try! :)

:: Lavendar @ 1 Utama::

Happy Belated Valentine Day!
So.. how had you celebrate your valentine?

For us, as usual due to work load, we are unable to make a perfect plan.
Anyway, on the last minute we decided to splurge on a dinner. Without plan and booking made.
But we are not worried as after we off work, it's already 9pm. So we head off to 1U and step into Lavendar (because he wanted to tried it for a long time ago)
It's already 930pm and most of the couples had left. So .. we able to slip in without booking made. LOL.
The environment is good.

We ordered a glass of wine.
And plum soda for me.
As expected, valentine dinner will come in a set. A set consists of soup/ salad, main and desserts cost RM88++/set.
Wild mushroom soup. Ok.
Spring Flower Salad with Honey Bechamel. Not worth the price.
Seared Tuna with Horseradish Spaghetti on a bed of chiffon Arugula & Crispy Wanton.
What a name!.. I will simplify it to tuna spaghetti. I will say this is overprice as well. Tasted .. nothing special. Just that it goes well with the wine. Other than that, it is more than normal.
Grilled Tenderloin Skewers with Salsa Verde. This is ok despite the tenderloin is a bit tough.
Due to we are the last customer, the desserts sold off and they replaced it with a slice of cake each.
End of valentine which cost us RM250. Well.. valentine is a day for business people to make extra profit, isn't it?

I couldn't say I really enjoy the dinner.
For I'm not happy that the price does not fit the meal.
For because we are the last patrons, we need to rush through our meal as the shop are closing.
Lesson learnt.

::Gerai Makan Japanese BBQ @ Taman Desa, KL::

I was hunting for nice foods recommendations on the web and I found this out.
From pictures posted by those food-bloggers, this place attracted me. It somehow looks so special, a scene I always seen in Japanese drama.
So I drag the bf out to hunt this place out. We have some difficulties looking for this place as it is hidden.
To be easy, just search for Fisherman's Wharf in your GPS. Park your car and walk to the alley behind the shop lots. It is hidden behind there! And we are lucky to found it when we almost giving up.

Charcoal BBQ.
Pork Loin RM10
Pork Belly RM10
Vegies RM5
DIY.
Risotto RM6
Ramen RM12

Basically it is special yet nothing special. I enjoyed the BBQ session but the fact that we can do this on our own at home which would be more cost saving just dampen the mood. Well .. nothing wrong to try out new things once a while. Something you called "pay to eat for the sake of the environment/ mood". :)

::2011 Birthday with Besties::

I'm grateful that for so many years, we still able to meet up during our birthdays :)
As usual, although it is just a simple celebration, but the remembrance is what I appreciate.
Thanks Edwin and Bok Yao.
For being there all along. Since uni life. For sharing all the ups and downs that I had in my life. For all the advices and gossips and stories. Thinking back makes me feel old and once so stupid :)
Lovely and special jelly cake :)
Happy :)
Thanks for the macaroons! Once .. I wanted to tried so much but because it is quite expensive, I never really spend on it. But I got a few for my birthday this year! :)

Hope we can stay like this until we grow old!~
